Fully automatic machines.

  1. Cycle loader. (This could be a robot, walking beam, or pick and place type loader.)

  2. Cycle machine.

  1. The part support advances.

  2. The racks advance.

  3. The part support returns.

  4. The racks return.

  5. The machine now waits for the loader to cycle.

NOTE:
In order to save cycle time most machines will allow the loader to cycle as soon as the part support is fully returned.

SAFETY NOTE:
Automatic and semi-automatic machines should be guarded as per the original manufactures and OSHA specifications. This will protect personnel from placing body parts in dangerous areas.

The sequence of operations illustrated above are for a general understanding of the way these machines operate. Consult your machine's operators manual for the proper sequence of operations.
